  • The Genio system involves the implantation of a small neurostimulator under the chin. The implantation procedure is quick, requires only a single incision, and is performed by a physician trained in the technique.

To qualify for Genio, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are an adult.
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate or severe obstructive sleep apnea (AHI between 15 and 65).
  • You have failed, refused or are intolerant to CPAP therapy.
  • You are not significantly overweight (BMI ≤ 35).
